As of 2010 I, John Lacklen, have owned and operated my law practice for 23 years. For 21 years I have worked exclusively in personal injury law representing injured plaintiffs. I have settled or obtained trial verdicts or arbitration awards for more than 2000 personal injury cases. These cases range from small to complex cases valued in the millions. Many cases have had multiple defendants. Some are against cities, the California government, police departments, large corporations, insurance and bus companies. One vehicle accident case involved 37 defendants. I have considerable litigation, mediation, arbitration and trial experience. I take cases in every jurisdiction in California and in other states. Most cases resolve by settlement, but if settlement proposals of defendants are unreasonable, I take my cases to trial. I have won all my trials.
